A Festive Engagement
This unique cake was baked for a festive celebration for a soon to be bride and groom. This two tier cake is made of Chocolate and Vanilla, topped with fondant decorated in the brides colors.
Chocolate Meringue Chocolate Cake
The story behind this cake is quite interesting. We found out they were hosting a graduation party for the youth at our church and realized we had extra chocolate cake. We had about half an our and needed to ice the cake. Of course, we happened to be out of our signature cream cheese frosting nor did we have the classic coconut pecan frosting, and going to the store was not an option. So in typical Sweet Cakes style, we had to wing it. All we had on hand were eggs and coco powder, and this is how the Chocolate Meringue Chocolate Cake was conceived.
